Project Connecting Communities and Ecosystems

The Connecting Communities and Ecosystems Project completed the Transboundary Analysis of the binational basin of the Sixaola river and is now starting to work on the Strategic Action Plan.

Nature journaling training for environmental educators

Marley Pfeiffer, naturalist and environmental educator, inspired a group of environmental educators in a series of workshops about Nature Journaling.

During October and December, we co-organized two activities that gathered civil society representatives to create synergies in ecological restoration and environmental education in Costa Rica

An excerpt from The Green Fuse: An Ecological Odyssey by John Harte

In his book The Green Fuse: An Ecological Odyssey, John Harte takes us from Alaskan salmon runs and the Florida everglades to South Pacific coral reefs and the bleak Tibetan plateau. OTS Board of Directors Meeting, March 2024

A new meeting of OTS Board of Directors took place in Costa Rica last month. Members of the Board visited our office in San José and our station at Las Cruces to participate in different tours and activities to learn about the most recent plans of the Organization, as well as to meet with allies and partners in the country.
