We are the Organization for Tropical Studies.

We are a nonprofit consortium of about 50 universities, research centers, and scientific institutions from around the world. We have research stations and educational programs in Costa Rica and South Africa.

Our purpose is to sustain our tropical ecosystems by driving scientific discovery and knowledge, by enriching human perception of nature and by enhancing worldwide policy actions in the tropics.
