OTS Admissions proudly welcomes our Spring 2025 undergraduate cohorts! Our African Ecology and Conservation program in South Africa has reached its largest enrollment since pre-pandemic times, and our Tropical Biology on a Changing Planet program in Costa Rica continues to grow in its second semester since relaunching in Fall 2024.
This growth reflects the renewed vigor of international field studies and the enduring appeal of our immersive educational experiences. We look forward to providing these students with transformative learning opportunities in some of the world’s most biodiverse regions!
If you are interested — or an undergraduate student you know is interested — in participating in an OTS field program, applications are now open for all Summer and Fall 2025 programs. More information and instructions on how to apply can be found on our website. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to our Associate Director of Admissions, Ian Crowell.
In addition to this exciting growth in our undergraduate programs, we are very excited to launch the official OTS podcast series, “On the Trail of Science: Tracks and Trajectories.” This podcast series explores the incredible journeys of students, scientists, and conservationists who have had impactful adventures with OTS. Each episode will dive into conversations that highlight the unique blend of field-based learning, cultural exchange, and academic growth that makes OTS truly transformative. The first episode can be found on Spotify here, with more episodes coming soon! If you would like to share your story with OTS for the podcast, please reach out via email.
Together, we continue to inspire and educate the next generation of field scientists!
