TropTalks

OTS is proud to present the TropTalks online science seminars series. We will bring cutting edge scientific research from tropical and subtropical systems to the screens of our global community. These short online talks will feature some of the most prominent names in biology, ecology and other related fields.

If you are interested in sponsoring a TropTalks presentation or series, please contact Brooks Bonner.

Keystone: Our most distinguished series invites prominent scientists from the OTS community to share their work and research. This exclusive series will be longer in length, and with a greater emphasis on research and answering questions by guests. This series will occur quarterly. For more information about upcoming episodes of the Keystone series, please contact Brooks Bonner.

Stories from the Field: Catch up on the latest from OTS’ field courses, faculty, as well as recent alumni conducting cutting-edge research. Invited speakers will include resident researchers at OTS Field Stations, program faculty and other invited guests. This series aims to engage OTS science pioneers, the next generation of researchers, and emerging scientists. This is a great way for prospective students and the broader community to learn about specific OTS courses, the skills students learn, and how it is all connected.  See below for the next scheduled episodes of Stories from the Field, and scroll to the bottom of the page to get notified about upcoming TropTalks.
